AVON WORKING DOG TRAINING SOCIETY HOUSE RULES

The club request that all dogs are under full control of their handlers, that they are properly restrained, and not a danger to humans, other dogs or livestock. The club does not have the facilities or expertise to assist with behavioural issues.

The club would like members to be aware that as of the 1st August 2015 that they will no longer allow the use of pinch/pronged collars or electric collars on any land or facilities which the club may hire or rent.

No dogs to be tied up and left unsupervised.

For safety reasons jumps should not be used unsupervised by new handlers. Any use of the agility club equipment within the training area is at the member’s own risk.

Dogs to be 12 months old before using the jumps, with the exception of the ramp.

All dogs should be healthy and free from worms on club premises. Bitches in season are requested to remain at home.

No man work or patrol training will take place without the supervision by a recognised PD handler approved by the committee.

All children MUST be accompanied by an adult and supervised at all times. That adult will be responsible for their safety. They must not interfere with members training.

Westwood Farm is a working farm please park sensibly and be aware of heavy equipment and livestock. All parking is at the member’s own risk.

Always clean up after your dog, and take the bag home.
